LEXUS LM - CONCEPT MOVIE

LEXUS launched a new “version L” based on new specifications for its top-of-the-line LM minivan lineup in May 2024. amana’s CG production team, croobi, was in charge of the driving scene of the concept movie.

The new appeal of the LEXUS LM is expressed with full CG images created by amana’s CG production team croobi.

This concept movie depicts the new appeal of the LEXUS LM proposed by the six-seat version L, which is designed for a variety of use situations, including business and private use, and describes the riding comfort and living space that all passengers can enjoy in a natural way, even in a large group.

amana made full use of CG to produce a video of five scenes in which the Lexus LM runs on an expressway and across a bridge. A natural finish is achieved by adjusting every detail, including the sun and weather conditions in the background, to match the material of live-action imagery.

In the development of the scene that the Lexus LM runs elegantly, amana utilized its abundant CG background assets. We used running scenes to represent a comfortable ride and living space that enable passengers to relax naturally in various use situations such as business and private life.

croobi is amana’s CG production team specializing in mobility, which is rare in Japan. In the past, we have produced display images and graphics used in many TV commercials, visual advertisements, and mobility shows. Distinctive features of croobi include utilizing its own background database to streamline workflows, proposing the construction of a background world view, and offering visual output.

This concept movie is one example of that, succeeding in brilliantly visualizing the luxury and comfort the Lexus LM has to offer.
